Traditional performance metrics do not meet the requirements for a DevOps enabled environment. Traditional metrics typically focus on individual systems only, use strict separations between development projects and maintenance and have very few end-to-end measurements. The overall effort focuses on stability versus agility. This session will outline the challenges in leveraging traditional metrics to measure the agile enterprise and how to shift the focus toward metrics that are market comparable and drive on-going success. We will explore enterprise agility and measurements that cover the entire value chain. Discover how to develop meaning KPIs beginning with customer demand through to operating a system in production and how to remove measurement boundaries between individual components of the value chain.
