TOM CANNING

Vice President Strategy, Flexera Software

As Vice President of Strategy, Tom Canning has responsibility for defining the strategy, ensuring a deep understanding of the customer’s requirements and industry trends for Flexera’s SAM and Security businesses. Prior to this role Tom was General Manager of Asia Pacific based in Melbourne and Singapore, leading the company’s sales expansion into these emerging markets for 7 years, successfully setting up operations in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan to support the entire region. Tom first joined the business in 2005 in the UK and has since that time been involved in various roles across technical, sales and management functions across the business. Prior to Flexera, Tom held sales roles in both Compuware and Pivotal, with responsibility across various parts of EMEA. Tom earned a bachelor’s degree from Manchester University where he studied Mechanical Engineering.
