    The Technology Strategy & Architecture (TS&A) organization is a newly formed organization responsible for building and maturing core capabilities to run Zoetis Tech & Digital with the discipline of a business, driving a cohesive approach to strategy planning, portfolio execution and value realization while optimizing technology costs. 

     

    Our Technology Business Management (TBM) Office is currently seeking an Apptio TBM Manager to join our TS&A team. The ideal candidate will be a key leader in our TBM transformation, with a strong background in IT financials, data and business management. They will be able to understand a big-picture vision, as well as the details required to make that vision a reality. This role involves close collaboration with a variety of job roles at all levels within the organization.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Participate and lead in the design, development, and implementation of the Technology Business Management (TBM) Model, Architecture and Data across Cost Pools, Towers, Services and Bills of IT
    • Support the Head of the TBM Office with the execution of the strategic roadmap translating vision into technical requirements and subsequent deliverables
    • Collaborate with IT Executives and Finance on IT Total Cost of Ownership, financial metrics, Bill of IT and Cost Transparency initiatives
    • Gather functional and business requirements and rapidly translate that information into a working set of operational and financial models, dashboards, and management reports
    • Build effective User Interfaces that are simple, yet powerful allowing end users to drill down into data and gather insights into their IT related costs
    • Coordinate support of automated data transfers of data from other internal data sources
    • Design and document processes and procedures for use by the TBM team, users and administrators
    • Support the team in day-to-day operational activities, support, enhancements
    • Assist with other business management related efforts such as portfolio management, service definition, business model canvas, benchmarking, application rationalization, continuous improvement efforts, etc.

     

    Qualifications (Training, Education, & Prior Experience):

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance or related field

     

    Experience:

    • Minimum two to five years of recent experience as an Apptio System Administrator and executing custom solution in TBM Studio
    • Strong IT financial acumen
    • Experience managing projects, project budgets/forecasting, and software development
    • Understanding of IT infrastructure domains including data centers, network/communications, server utilization, virtual environments, storage and application development
    • High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
    • Experience with data dictionaries, data analysis and relational databases
    • Skilled at working with large data sets, quickly detecting, and resolving data-related issues
    • Skilled at completing technical design via iterative mockups

    • Knowledge of Apptio required
    • Knowledge of SAP, Ariba, Workday, Jira, Plainview, Snow, Cloud Health strongly preferred
    • Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to breakdown complex information to simple solution requirements
    • Strong to expert skills in data analysis/manipulation
