Hello all,
At tomorrow's cloud workgroup meeting, I am going to share a proposed curriculum (topics, education goals) for a short (e.g., one-day) course on using TBM to create, measure and deliver business value from your cloud spending. I also wanted to get a conversation started here in the community about this proposed curriculum.
The idea here is not to replicate what's in the FinOps certification training; indeed, we would refer to that content and only touch upon its core principles. It would instead be designed to teach FinOps practitioners about what TBM brings to their world; it would also teach TBM professionals core concepts and principles for managing value when adopting public cloud (or even private cloud) services.
The components are show below. What do you think? Valuable? What are we missing? Would you change anything? Other suggestions?
