Description
TBM Analyst/ Business Management Analyst will be responsible for development, facilitation and enhancements relating to our TBM Platform (Apptio), and the related reporting and analysis needs of the Organization. The role will be primarily focused on gathering and synthesizing information from various sources as well as building dashboards and reports to assist in management reporting and decision making. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality. This role involves close collaboration with IT and Finance professionals at all levels within the organization.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Source, transform and load data according to schedule of deliverables
- Address issues of data quality and assist with remediation activities
- Assist in the configuration and ongoing maintenance of financial models and data models
- Assist in the development of data and governance strategies needed for our TBM platform
- Collaborate cross functionally with areas of the Organization to identify additional opportunities, define standardized metrics and rationalize reports and dashboards
- Provide assistance with data validation activities to confirm accuracy & completeness
- Assist in the maintenance of up to date platform configuration documentation
- Perform data analysis and projects as needed
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- Exceptional analytic, conceptual, quantitative and problem-solving skills required
- Quick learner; aptitude for systems, detail oriented; demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of work
- Able to gather functional and business requirements and rapidly translate that information into a working set of operational and financial models, dashboards, and management reports.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure domains including data centers, network, server utilization, virtual environments, cloud, storage, and application development
- Knowledge of financial management processes and best practices such as budgeting, cost allocations, capital & operating expense handling
- Strong to expert level skills and experience in formulaic logic such as MS Excel if statements, vlookup, pivot tables, macros, etc.
- Time management skills with strong attention to details; ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
- Great teammate with strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as willingness to participate and help others
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience with Apptio, Cloudability, ServiceNow, Oracle EBS
Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
- Certified TBMA (RTBMA/ETBMA) or working towards certification
- Certification in process/project management methodologies (Six Sigma, Agile, Project Management)
- Bachelor's degree required
