Cybersecurity is no longer a back-office concern—it’s a board-level issue. With AI adoption rising, digital services expanding, and supply chains becoming more interdependent, the ability to trust your digital infrastructure is now core to operational and business success.

Organizations widely adopt NIST CSF, but struggle to connect it to financial outcomes. Learn how combining TBM and NIST Cybersecurity Framework improves cybersecurity investment and risk management.

This is something I deal with regularly. The challenge is not understanding cyber risk, most organizations do that reasonably well. The challenge is translating it into a language that drives investment decisions.

Connecting NIST to TBM helps because it moves the conversation from risk ratings to business impact. When a control gap maps to a business capability or a cost tower, it becomes a financial decision, not just a security recommendation. That is when leadership actually engages.

As AI adoption grows this becomes even more critical. The attack surface is expanding faster than most organizations can track, and the investment conversation needs to keep pace.
