TBMC23 Breakout Session: TBM Taxonomy Alignment to NIST framework

11-28-2023 20:32

Cybersecurity is a top priority across both government and non-government agencies to focus on the prevention, detection, assessment, and remediation of cyber incidents. There is a need for right information to help prioritize investments to ensure limited resource spending on securing critical operations and maximizing service delivery. With this increased demand comes increased spending and the need to align cost with the value to achieve internal goals, as well as those laid out by oversight committees. This session will focus on the alignment of the TBM taxonomy to the NIST framework and document the value of cyber/cost allocations to provide transparency in meeting the increased demand for cybersecurity. This session is brought to you by TBM Council's Government Strategy Community and the Standards Committee. You can expect to preview the uplifted version of TBM Taxonomy 4.1 with improved definitions and new services tied to the NIST and TBM Integration.
